KEVIN'S TANKER FROM DUEL

Here is what I did with a toy tanker Woodsy gave me.

I have turned it into the tanker from the 1971 TV movie Duel. (If you haven't seen it, it really is worth watching, it's one of Spielberg's first efforts).

Tanks!

Big and menacing. A really good looking model, from a classic movie.

    1. Thanks. Yep a good film from a weird sub genre of homicidal vehicle films. "Killdozer" leaps to mind!

    2. Looks ace Kev,! Can't believe it's the same toy I sent you! Fab background and shots too! How did you convert the toy?

    3. Thanks, and thanks for the toy too. I put a plasticard skirt around the tank and built the back of it from milliput. The cab I sliced the back off with a cutting wheel. The rest was just paint and weathering.

  3. Lovely work from a much overlooked classic! Killdozer was a good laugh, but I always enjoyed Vanishing Point for all out car action! Bill
