AURORA, MEGO AND CO: ARTO'S FANTASTIC JUTHBACKA FINDS

Arto has been kind enough to share pictures of his recent and amazing haul of vintage goodies at the Juthbacka vintage fair on the western coast of Finland.  The Juthbacka fair attracts sellers from Sweden too.

A super post to end the summer, Feast your eyes!

  2. My eyes went to The Mego Dracula and Frankenstein's Monster. Also, The Stratostation.I have all 3, they all were childhood Christmas/ Birthday presents.Mego figures and Micronauts are known to age poorly, but everything you have there looks to be very good condition..Congratulations!

  3. I had the Aurora Frankenstein, and the Mego Star Trek figures. In fact I had most if not all of that Trek line. I know I agonized for years before I finally opened the packages to set up displays. ;-)

  5. A wonderful haul indeed, especially as I know what the missing item is too! The Micronauts items are my favourite, having been a collector of them since 1978. The packaging of the Time Traveller is one of my favourite pieces of art, so wonderfully minimal compared to the japanese releases. Bill

  10. The Diabolik figure is great, I couldn't have imagined that there was merchandise for this film, is it original or repro?
    The film is bonkers
So I've only seen trailers, but there's 2 new modern Diabolik movies, anyone seen those,?

  11. Oh Marky, the 1968 Diabolik movie was camp incarnate! Loved every minute of it!

The Diabolik figure is actually a candy box top of the Italian Sperlarli

There's quite a lot of Diabolik merchandise, again in Italy
