  1. My Kevin, that's quite a tome.
A VERY impressive collection, beautifully presented.
    And it's probably unique !

    1. Thanks. The text stories all cropped up as an eBay lot, already removed from TV21. They were a bargain. I laminated them. It's not a full set, but very nearly.

  2. Even when reprints are available it's nice to have the actual pages that one read when younger. Well conserved. Enjoy rereading and enjoying them.

  5. An excellent way to keep an archive and I surmise to keep the storyline in a linear fashion?

  6. Beautiful folder Kev and a great catch on Ebay. The artwork is wonderful. the old GACCH website explained who each artist was. For me they are the main event rather than the text. I didn't get TV21 comics as a kid. At least I don't remember them and I think I would. Do you think the text put kids off reading them Kev?

    1. and by the power of the Wayback Machine here's those GACCH explanations of each SWORD text story and the name of the artist! https://web.archive.org/web/20160306083002/http://www.technodelic.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Upload03/ProjectSWORD02.htm

      "I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that..."
"Hrm.The Wayback Machine has not archived that URL."

  7. It probably did. I'm trying to think back and I probably did prefer comic strips to text stories.

    1. Can you ever see these being printed in a professional volume Kev?

  8. Not sure that Sword would ever be popular enough, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Zero X comic strips didn't come out one day. I'd certainly buy them!
