X-50 ON FILM!

Looey's comment that the X-50 appeared at the start of Superthunderstingcar had me googling for it immediately. I've heard lots about the skit but never seen it.

Yep, there it was... the X-50 on the screen! Its not an easy video to see online and the only full version I could find was on Sylvia Anderson's Facebook page, so you may not be able to watch it but, here goes:

    That was brilliant. They certainly captured the look and feel of the real thing, and the model work was not half bad, in a goofy sort of way.

    1. Google has failed me again in my attempts to find a definitive answer...
      I surmise that as "Not Only, but Also" was a BBC production, they may have tasked the Doctor Who Visual Effects department to provide the model scenes...

    1. Me too, never seen it before. The opening with the toys is fabulous. I saw Team America World Police in part recently. Hmmmm.
