Absolutely lovely work! The Shado Mobile is a deceptively simple looking design that is actually a challenging build. I just got rid of a half finished project I'll never complete now. A Shado Mobile based around a 1/16 scale RC Leopard tank! The twist was, it wasn’t a studio scale replica like your magnificent model. Mine was based on Mike Trim's original concept drawing, which UFO enthusiasts will know was wider, more rounded and with a roating yellow beacon on the roof! All in the realm of things unwrought now...
Thanks very much. I do recall the original design, that would've made an interesting model. I did make a model of the mobile on the body of a radio controlled tank. It was much smaller than studio scale because when I bought the Tiger Joe tank for the wheels and tracks, I hadn't realised that they made a smaller one as well as the huge one that they used on UFO!
