I saw this concoction on auction earlier in the year and you know, I quite like it. Its like a yellow Rock 'Em Sock 'Em robot commandeering a Starcom spacecraft!
Not one for me Woodsy, as they look to be different scales, but at least they're both sci-fi related, not a spaceship and a gonk, or a motorbike ridden by Godzilla !
I can see the tacky appeal of this. During my toy robot hunting days, I was more interested in proper anime subjects like Mazinger or Gundam rather than bootleg wannabes. Now as a sometimes Art Toy maker, I'm more open to different influences. Ha Ha, Mish! Godzilla on a motorcycle! In that vein is one of the most horrible toys I've ever seen. AND IT'S GREAT! I WANT IT! A vintage Captain Scarlet on a tricycle!!! Talk about giving Captain Black a head start!

That Cap Scarlet Trike is just fab Looey. The toy is a lot more modest than the box art!

They could be fans Paul. Presumably the robot's rear get's hot. I think the figure is based on a VR Trooper figure maybe.
