Orange Hover NASA Space Tract*, Tarheel Grey Space Glider*, Durham Green Space Glider, Century 21 Grey Space Glider, Hoover orange Space Glider.

*= Not in the Moonbase Fleet.

    I wonder if the Durham and Tarheel gliders shared a box Arto? Lovely fleet. The Hover STract is amazing. A great clone, well made. I love the orange colour.

    Thanks Woodsy, I'd love to know too. One day a boxed Durham glider will show up I'm sure.

    The Hover Space Tract came up in Italy, which seems to be a treasure trove for little known toy variants from the Sixties and the Seventies.

      Who copied who - no idea Woodsy. Maybe the factory producing them made two different runs simultaneously for those two brands.

    A beautiful collection! That Dayglo Green Tarheel Glider reminds me a lot of the one Tarheel/Durham space toy I had. I keep forgetting it’s name, but it was a jet/rocket plane of some sort, which had the movable “swing wings” of Thunderbird 1, and it was in that same wonderful green. Loved that toy, and even put it in one of my 8mm Sci-Fi movies! SFZ

    Excellent collection Arto! Those would be nice to collect but I'm afraid they end up going for a king's ransom on this side of the big puddle!

    From Helsinki POV collecting anything from outside of the EU takes its toll too, the shipping fees and VATs and whatnot.
