After seeing all this cover art, I can't help but think of the scene towards the beginning of 1947 movie "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" when Walter (Danny Kaye), walks through the artist studio on the way to his office at Pierce Publishing passing work-in-progress pulp covers showing Astounding Love Stories (between aliens and buxom blondes), Lady and The Vampire, Sensational Murder Stories, Astounding Tales, etc. The last sign he passes reads, "Good Taste and Good Reading for Thirty Years Pierce Publications" LOL
Yep, so many great covers came out of the Fifties and Sixties. I wonder if there is a Golden Age and Silver Age for book pulp covers like there is for comics?
