That's an M2-F2 lifting body, like the one in the opening of "The Six Million Dollar Man" credits.Oh, and if anyone ever wanted to know:The pilot of the lifting body that crashed on the film survived!
Glad he survived. M2 F2 is the inspiration for quite a few vintage space toys too Scott, which I collect. I've just got a yellow one!
