Here is a site I recently discovered - Vintage Series Books for Girls...and a few for Boys. This covers series books, mostly early 20th century. Everything from the big names like Nancy Drew and the Three Investigators, to many that are now largely forgotten. It includes photos of book covers. Very useful.
