Hello Sailor

Terranova's fleet of wooden 'folk art' models were on the blog not so long ago and I asked for some further shots of them, to show them off. TB has kindly obliged!

A very interesting group of models, in a variety of camouflage schemes.

  3. They were a lucky find in a store full of junk. I like that their creator painted a waterline on the submarines.

    1. That can be called an interpretation of Dazzle camouflage. As can be seen in the vessel without it, battleship gray alone is boring.

  6. The shop was in Greenpoint, Long Island. The other end of the Long Island Railroad from NYC.
