That's the one ,Arto. I had one like it, and the smaller version as a youngster. I did hang on to the parts from the smaller version for a while, but now all gone.
Now that is a bobby dazzler Scoop and an amazing vintage toy to find in a Charity shop. I once found an incomplete set at an evening toy fair years ago and then incredibly found the missing parts in a junk shop just before lockdown last year! I have to ask, did you buy the set you saw?
That's some 'grot shop' Scoop, with a find like that in it. I've not seen anything as good as that, even in quite fancy antique places ! I'd definitely have asked the price at least. You never know.
You might well be right, Mish maybe I should of. It's quite a big grot shop covering several floors with mostly furniture and antiques. There's always plenty of modern action figures, annuals and toys, but some of the pricing can be a bit on the high side. Various sections are rented space so you never deal with the actual owners of the stuff, so there's no room for bargaining.
This one?

ReplyDeleteI might have a few years ago, Woodsy, and I admit I was momentarily tempted, but as it didn't have a price tag I decided against it.
