Hi,
Just found this, a 2021 auction for a large, ride-on model of the Dragula coffin dragster, from The Munsters TV series. Length 65 inches, suitable for a single rider up to six feet tall, with a top speed of 25 mph. Clearly a toy for adults, rather than children.
What do you think?

What a car! Grandpa had such class! I think Barnabas Collins had a coffin car as well.
ReplyDeleteI was about to whinge that because of the riding saddle, it didn't have the distinctive clear bullet canopy... But it does! Complete with a Grandpa driver figure! That really makes the whole thing and it's a lovely display model when you're not zooming around at 25 mph!

DeleteYes, MPC did the Barnabas Collins custom car, with a coffin trailer. If you are totally nuts, you could modify an AMT Drag-u-la kit to make the ride-on version. No idea what scale that would be. With a length of 65 inches, the full size ride-on would need a pretty large display case.
