I used to collect both these mags in the day.

  2. Gosh, I used to collect those! Great stuff!
I remember my subscription came with a Robby the Robot poster.

I even found that the poster is available for sale!
But, my wife decorates the house.
There's no room for such a poster any more. ;)

    1. I'd get Starlog when I saw it , and had Starburst on regular order at my local newsagent. I still got most of both of my original issues. I did eventually end my subscription with Starburst when it began to concentrate more on horror than sci-fi.

  3. I bought both of those for years, and ended up working for the company that published the UK edition of Starlog. Starlog is long gone, though all issues are available on the Internet Archive, but Starburst is still going (after several changes of hands and the odd hiatus), and is heading for its 500th issue!

  4. Great mags both Scoop yes. I picked up many a copy from Preston second-hand market in the 70's. I've a lovely one which was a book about Sci-Fi modelling. There's a Project SWORD Apollo Saturn in it!
