"War Games" has my personal favorite scene in the entire run of the show: Alan Carter fighting in his badly damaged Eagle in a last ditch attempt to save Alpha from being Destroyed by the Alien Battleship.
That scene in the episode of the Warship looming overhead was used by George Lucas in the first Star Wars film, and from then on pretty much every other space opera film from then on! ;D
