Hi Woodsy.Spring has Sprung here in New Jersey and I'm doing my part to make things bright and cheerful.
I noticed the decorations in the back yard flower bed were looking pretty haggard, and I was thinking of throwing them away.
Then,I thought of all the great restoration projects I see on Moonbase Central and decided to rescue this eclectic lot of Frogs and Crayfish. After all,I had all the materials I needed,so I dove right in!
I used clay to form any missing limbs, and coated them with Epoxy to make them tough and weatherproof.
A coating of paint for all,and here they are,in all their glory!-

ReplyDeleteFab restoration Brian! Great lookin wildlife! Glad you didn't throw them out?
ReplyDeleteI am satisfied with the results. It would have been easy enough to throw them out and replace them, but I enjoyed the process of restoring them. Now that the weather is warm I want to set up a modeling table outside and start a new project.
