I mostly mess in the garage, but am 'allowed' to paint (non smelly) in the study or on a board on the kitchen table.NEVER in the living room!
I don't have a garage Mish or a study ( is that an office?). We have a kitchen diner so technically I am in the kitchen!
Our 'study' is really just a single bedroom with the family computer and a bookcase in it.
