Technofix Lunar Expedition Toy

Hi

Here is a short You Tube video of a Technofix Luna Expedition toy. A small, tank-like exploration vehicle runs around the Lunar surface, passing under a large Lunar Lander. I wonder if this was modified from another toy ? It looks as though it might originally have been some sort of loading hopper for trucks or railway wagons ?
