1967 DUTCH THUNDERBIRDS GAME BY JUMBO

This caught my eye on Vintage Man Stuff and something I'd not seen before.

A 1967 Thunderbirds board game with 6 grey plastic helmeted figures (6.5 cm high)

What are those figures?

The instructions are in French and Dutch. There is a Jumbo shaped quality card.

Have you got this game?

  1. I dont think the figures are original, from the look of it, the playing pieces are cardboard

  2. They are original, Wote.
Just found another (incomplete) set here, with a better picture of them:

They look familiar but hopefully someone more learned than me can tell us.

  3. I have mentioned the game once or twice, the figures are the US 'plasti-somthing' or 'somthing-plast' figures, here supplied by Autria's Linde who would have pirated them.
