Here is an interesting item featuring toy testing by Popular Mechanics magazine. The video title says 1959, but the toys are clearly later, and a copy of the magazine dated November 1962 is shown. Some interesting items, including the Monogram Big T Ford Model T custom car kit in 1/8th scale - a real monster; Fred Flintstone with his working dinosaur crane; and even a set of toy bagpipes.
