MINI WIND UP SPARKING MOON PROBE

You don't often see the Mini Wind Up Sparking Moon Probe, part of the Mini Wind Up range. This was on an online sale so I kept the pics.

Its an unusual looking space toy with its long sweeping blister dome like a steam-iron snout.

It includes this small silver thingy, which I'll have to read up on.

Colour variations include an orange version.

if I was to get one it would be the blue version.

Do you like them?

  1. Ive got this model, made by Lincoln International and a number of other variations, although I have never seen the orange version. The silver 'thingy' is a flint holder, that sits on top of a knurled wheel in the motor, rubbing on the surface of the wheel to make the sparks. The flints could be replaced with lighter flints. Theres also a Lunar Drill, a Bulldozer, a Train and a Jeep in the series and probably more.
