Very nice indeed, especially the Fireball XL5 model. Just a pity I can not read German.

  2. Very nice. While I never had any Tor rockets, I had a wonderful parachute rocket from Parks. Here's the most recent one I've found for sale: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Plastic-Red-amp-White-Park-039-s-no-528-Parachute-Rocket-Made-in-USA-/193391501254?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=JwqM9deEbvo6oCyMjgUrUAmnCbc%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc

Mine was identical but with slightly different colors. Mine had a red nose, white tail fin (red piece in the upper right) and the launcher handle was red as well.

The main difference was mine had a tiny white 'moon car' with its own chute that ejected at the apex of the flight. That meant you had to track 2 chutes coming down at different speeds and trajectories to different landing spots. It was a pretty high flyer especially being 'slingshot powered'. It had a long life but alas is no longer part of toy bin, just memories.

    1. Fab memories Lance. That must have been something, double descending parachutes. And one with a moon car! Wow! I wonder what that car looked like?
