CALLING OUR READERS IN NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY

Just watching the concern of New Yorkers for the virus on the News. It seems to be gripping the city in a bad way. It may even be State-wide?

New Jersey is just across the water, so I assume things are bad there too.

How are you all doing?

Our thoughts are with you guys. Hunker down, stay safe and keep your minds active.

  1. Thank you for the kind thoughts.

My wife and I left NYC at the weekend for our country home in Connecticut where my basement and hobbies are.

I had some of the required face masks from when I was woodworking and painting the house when we bought it a few years ago and we managed to buy a box of disposable vinyl gloves so are equipped for going out in society but are staying indoors mostly, just going for short walks for fresh air and exercise.

On Monday we had four inches of snow which hopefully will not be a reoccurring feature as snow often means power lines are brought down by falling trees. Stuck home without electricity wouldn’t be helpful.

Listening to BBC World News on how less economic advantaged countries are fairing is scarily reminisant of War of the Worlds. That and your post about people g breaking into abandoned homes is putting a nasty edge on just a medical problem and how authorities are responding.

If you have a diety now might be a good time to commune.

    1. NYC seems to be getting bad Terran despite the efforts of the beleaguered Mayor. I can't believe how quickly its happened in the US and how things have gone downhill so rapidly. I hope so much that great minds figure out a vaccine soon. God help us all.
