Hi,

Just watching ITV's The Day We Walked on the Moon. About 20 mins in, there is a big close-up of a Sword Moonbus!

  2. It was in one of the many documentaries on the moon landing. They were commenting on how in the late 60's, space was in many aspects of popular culture. This little clip was followed by a Billy Blastoff ad and then Brian May (astrophysicist and rock legend) talking about a space toy he had as a kid, where you had to land a balloon on a lunar landscape!

  3. Brian May's toy was the johnny Astro set by Topper, a blue plastic moonscape and a big fan on a console to blow the balloon around! Great to see the moon bus, ill have to watch the documentary now!

    1. Johnny Astro was just ace. I can see that balloon rising from the regolith now, hands on the joystick, mouth wide open in wonder! What a great toy. I bet Brian May made his into a guitar!
