FAB WORLD PUPPET SELECTION

Here's a few photos of just some, not all of the wonderful puppet display at Fab Worlds. Those that follow the blog on a regular basis will know I did do a post not long ago on the puppets from last years Fab World, but as the folks in charge of the display were, as always very helpful to me once again this year I'm happy to acknowledge their efforts with some pics.

Obviously, this is Aloysius 'Nosey' Parker ('ere, less of the 'nosey', if you don't mind!). This is  a replica, although it was commissioned by Gerry Anderson, and made by Christine Granville. It features original studio items including trousers and shoes from the film 'Thunderbirds are Go'.

Replica Scott and John Tracy puppets. Again, the work that goes into these is excellent. The replicated costumes' are based on those seen in 'Thunderbird 6', and have been colour matched using original surviving examples.

This is a replica sculpted by Chris King, of NTBS reporter, Ned Cook. This fully working puppet was used in one of the fan funded 'Thunderbirds 1965' episodes.

Intrepid Troy Tempest and an Aquaphipian, both working replicas: The Aquaphibian was built by Phil Eason.

An excellent replica of Captain Scarlet next to original Captain Black and Destiny Angel.

Original puppets of Captain's Grey and Ochre.

Original puppets of the men from W.I.N.

Original puppets of the men from B.I.S.H.O.P.

Special thanks to Andrew, Richard and Chris, and one or two others who were happy to chat about the puppets.
