FARPOINT TOY SHOW FINDS

Hi Woodsy.

Here's a quick view of my Farpoint toy show acquisitions.

First, Star Fortress by Tara Toys.

Made to appeal to the Star Wars set, it's in pretty good shape for a 40 year old cardboard and vinyl folding playset.

Tara Toys used this same pattern (star fortress) to make "Hulk"s Hideaway" playset
And finally, a Hot Wheels Adventures micro playset.

The free rolling vehicle unfolds into a jungle play set complete with cars,a giant ape, a dinosaur and giant spider. How could I pass THAT up?

Well, that's all for now.

Enjoy your time off,

  1. Well done, Brian! You've managed to add some outstanding finds to your collection. I wonder if there was a specific figure range to go with the Star Fortress? As you can guess, I'm not familiar with it and I can't recall ever seeing the Star Fortress here in the UK?

  2. Hi Tony. The beauty of this space playset is that you can use it for almost every scale.Army men size,3 3/4 inch, even 6 and 8 inch figures. That was the appeal to me!

  3. I can see what you mean, Brian. Yes, it would be a perfect playset or even a display piece for space adventures in scale plastic.
The jungle play set's also fab. I can imagine it wont be long before it's invaded by more of your menagerie of monsters :)
