For anyone who missed last weeks Endeavour episode on ITV, here's a clip showing the puppet sequence that's been widely distributed on line by Century 21 films, the people behind the Thunderbirds 1965 project.

I know it's only short, but I thought it was a really good homage to the earlier AP Films series'. I imagine quite a few fans would love to see a series of this, I know I would.
Superb Scoop. Theyve done a terrific job! Like being at home watching Thunderbirds after skoo back in 67! We want more! Ta for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff!
ReplyDeleteAnd nice to hear original AP Films voice artist David Graham as Colonel Crater.:)
ReplyDeleteI would not have known this was newly made except the giveaway was that the Boiler Control Panel did not have knobs made of Colgate Tooth Paste tube caps. If it had it would have been the 1960's again.
ReplyDeleteMy question is why is Shaun Evans as Morse sporting a moustache that looks like Parker's eyebrows?
Apparently, the moustache which is real, warms Shaun Evans's top lip,but for the story it's to show a visual shift for the character after the death of officer George Fancy in the previous series.
DeleteAs to the Colgate tops missing from the 'boiler' control panel I'm sure there's a plausable explanation once I make it up.;D
Thanks for the sneak peek Scoop, looks really fabtastic! Just like in the old days. Derek Meddings would have approved of that explosive ending I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice little clip, isn't it, Arto. I hope the camera person was behind toughened glass when that peice of exploding model flew right at his or hers lense.
