My childhood dog Shandy regularly trampled over carpet battalions of Airfix soldiers! Those plastic boys just weren't up to that kind of firepower!
Shandy always joined me and my mates in the garden for battles and war too. She was the army scout sniffing out the enemy behind the deckchairs!
Yep, Shandy was as much a part of my childhood as my toys were.

Had no pets as a kid, sadly. Today, though, my doggies watch me while I build models, and they love to get belly rubs when I watch classic Supermarionation on the telly!
