  1. These guys look fab Terran! They remind me of Marx figures for some reason. What make are they?

  2. I think they are MPC figures from the early 60's.

  3. Two nice vintage variants. Were they factory painted? The handguns look quite different as well? :)

    1. Back on December 23 Woodsy posted some pictures I sent of some broken figures I was planning to convert into Jet Ace. These two are repaired, modified and painted by me. The second figure handgun was broken and has been modified again by me. Think of it as Wyatt Earp's Buntline special in space!

    2. Just re-posted those original Gemini figures here Terran. I like your idea of Wyatt Earp in Space. there must be some old movies with cowboys on other planets. I can think of one toy line - from the Eighties, Bravestarr. It was a cartoon as well. The big set was called Fort Kerium. BTW what does buntline mean?

    3. Ned Buntline was a writer who some sources say had some Colt Single Action Army Revolvers made with 16" barrels, one of which he presented to Wyatt Earp. In the 1950's TV series The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp this was presented as fact and actor Hugh O'Brien had to pull this rediculously long handgun from a holster every gunfight. Edward Zane Carroll Judson, Sr., wrote under the pseudonym of Ned Buntline.

    4. Fab info Terran. Never heard of Ned Buntline. I knew Wyatt Earp had a long pistol. There's an excellent episode of Star Trek where Kirk and co have to reenact the gun fight at the OK coral. When I was a kid I was fascinated by Western gunslingers and would try to rank them in order of skill and danger!
