A Home-Made SpacEX LT-10 - Sort of!

Its still the Easter hols for me and its been an occasional tradition of mine to make a home-made Spacex model.

Three years ago I spent a whole week constructing a Photonic Propulsion Space Station from bits and bobs in the home and toy-box.

This year I wanted to make something .... in an hour!

Inspiration came from the gorgeous and shiny LT-10, a toy I don't have either.

So, raiding my junk pile I set to work earlier this evening before tea.

An hour later this is the result!

I didn't go for a replica as you can see! Just an impression this time round.

Its the Elevated LT-11.

A bit of fun really!

Have you made any quick home made models?

  1. I like the fact that you haven't tried to make a direct copy, Woodsy. Your interpretation is colourful, fun, and fits in with the range. Wonder what components you used? :)

    1. ha ha. Just bits lying around Tone. An old orange plastic pan-pipe for kids. An orange pen lid and cap. A red book-light clamp, a paperclip, a yellow toy peg from Mastermind, a cable connector and two sets of loose SpaceX wheels and axles [I think].
