Scramble The Eggs! Hungry Baby!

Just catching a rest whilst Moonbase Grandson has a morning kip. he'll be waking up soon so I'd better finish my coffee [a new flavour, cookie dough!] and tidy up again. there are plastic trucks and singing houses and wooden fruit all over the floors!

Babysitting for a whole weekend is like being kidnapped by Mothercare - but in a pleasant way! Your life revolves around the baby 24/7. Even when he's asleep your'e still connected with the plug-in baby monitor, which amplifies baby's every sneeze and trump!

Anyways, its scrambled eggs and toast for lunch. Baby boy likes it and we do too. Nice and quick to make as well.

Then maybe brave the freezing cold snowy weather - dubbed The Mini-Beast from the East - and visit a local garden centre so Moonbase Junior can see some fish in aquariums and maybe some guinea pigs, which our own daughter grew up with. It was pig Central when she was a kid!

At 7.30pm tonight, after toddler's bath-time, we'll collapse on the settee!

What are you having for lunch or breakfast readers depending on what time it is there?

  1. I'm using up a dozen eggs over the next few days,so I'll be making biscuit sandwiches with egg, bacon, and melted cheese.

  2. Biscuits in the U.S. are made from a simple Flour and yeast dough moistened with milk or buttermilk and cut into rounds and baked.the finished product is the perfect size to cut in half and place a fried egg inside.add some bacon or ham, some melted cheese, and maybe a little strawberry jam on top.Delicious!
