MY NEW FILM: Unboxing my Hover Probe Force 3

Here's my latest film about Project S.W.O.R.D toys readers.

This is the first of two toy unboxings.

This one is the Remote Controlled Probe Force no.3 by Hover, a bootleg version of the Century 21 Probe Force 3 from 1967.

It is 10 minutes long but I do hope you enjoy it.

Grab a cold beer and sit back!

  2. A cool video, Woodsy. Thanks for posting. Great to see the Hover version of Probe Force 3. These battery operated toys can be temperamental at best. Good luck with the soldering. Either way though, you've got a fab addition to your collection ! :)

    1. Thanks a lot Tone. It was on my wish list for years. Just one more toy on it now.

    2. Found my example of the Hover PF3, and it did not have cellophane on the box window either. I wonder if that was the case on all of them. Would be quite odd, leaving the toy out "in the open". Or what if the production of the toy was halted, and the unfinished production run without cellophanes was shipped to Italy to be sold there for 800 lire apiece? Would explain why all the examples by far have surfaced in one and the same country. (You know my penchant for a good speculation, Woodsy ☺)

    3. Interesting and Yes it is odd that there's no cellophane Arto. What about the Hover orange Space Glider. I don't have that box. Has that got a cellophane window? I wonder of Hover dodn't bother with cellophane on any of their boxes?

    4. Checked that, the orange Space Glider does have the cellophane, but then again it is a Hoover not Hover.
