Just watching Pacific Rim on TV.
Early on I couldn't help noticing the Saturn 5 type crawler taking Jaeger Gypsy Danger out from what looked like the NASA VAB!
Then a helicopter flew past and I thought, Yes! Roll Out as in the Cape Kennedy Set box art from Project SWORD!
Do you like Pacific Rim readers? Did any toys come out? A Jaeger crawler even?
It was a dumb movie if you try to associate it with reality but taken all on it's own it is a fun tale of giant robots and kaiju battles. I don't recall seeing toys tied to this movie.
ReplyDeleteI agree JD, a fun tale. I love the Kaiju in the movie. I would like to see them in a film with Godzilla. The only thing I wasn't keen on were the musical tunes they used to identify certain Jaegers.

Thats a lot of Jaegers Anonymous! I would have loved them as a kid! I wonder of they drank Jaegermeister? ha ha!
