SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT SUPPLIMENTAL: SPACE: 1999 MODELS ON DISPLAY

One thing that's always guaranteed at Gerry Anderson and Space Model events these days is a good showing of models from Space:1999, and Special Assignment was no exception.


David Sisson brought along the original screen used 44" Eagle 1, always good to see that.



Master modelmaker Chris Potter did a 'Build Your Own Eagle' workshop.


He invited me to lift it to test the weight, and believe me with all that brass in the gantry, it's really heavy.

  
Chris (I'm fairly sure it's Chris's) also brought along one of his Hawks.



This is the original  Pilot Ship from 'Bringers of Wonder'


This is the large screen used Glider from the episode, 'The Immunity Syndrome'.


Note the damaged wing.

    Yep, like Tone I think these are great shots Scoop. The models look superb and you look like youre having lots of fun! The Glider has a hint of Scout 2 about it don't you think?
