blue fin sooner?

I couldn't help noticing the basic similarity of the blue rocket fin and base on this old 1960 German magazine* to that of the Project SWORD Apollo Saturn toy from 1967**.

I've put them together for you. Toy on the right.

What do you think readers?

    The blue wing reminds me very much of the space shuttle's wing, right down to the leading edge black stripe.

      I see what you mean Lance, it does. I wonder what that kind of wing is called when it bends outwards part of the way down?

    It's called a 'double delta' wing apparently.
