That is marvellous. I'm tempted by that kit but it is too long to fit in my cabinets. The next size down is way too small, it is frustrating. I can't face all the sanding that would be involved in a scratchbuild!
Very, very well done. A few yrs. back here in Lakeland, was a hobby shop called Marchett,s Toys-n-Hobbies. in the store, they had a model the owner built. That Seaview had to have been at leas 5 ft long. lights inside, like youre, very detailed . Have you seen any kits about that long?
Thanks, the 5' model of Seaview sounds fabulous. My Moebius kit is just over three foot long, but I can't say I've ever seen one longer in the flesh. Cheers

ReplyDeleteIt is an excellent kit, and as you say, quite long. The problem with a scratchbuild is getting the shape just right.
DeleteThat's a beautiful model. I like what you've done with the interior detail and lighting. Superb!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tony.Something that big has just got to have lighting. :D
DeleteI agree, gorgeous that Scoop. That's your sideboard sorted then!
DeleteThat's right Woodsy, although my missus isn't too impressed;D
