Probably last update before the model is finished.
I have carved a piece of balsa to the shape of the canopy and then heated up a piece of clear acetate and pushed it over it to get the shape.
The pilot came courtesy of an Airfix Gnat jet trainer kit.
After painting the fuselage, I draw random panel lines on it with black biro.
Weathering is achieved by smearing 2B pencil lead onto it and sealing with a light spray of clear lacquer.
I use car striping tape, Letraset and model kit decals to add random detail.
Nearly there now.
