All good Kev I agree. Glad to see the X Files on there too. As for Serenity I will have to re-watch that. Is it about the young girl with super powers?
I can't believe that Mulder vanished for two later seasons. I'm shocked! Looking forward to seeing how they cope without him! As for Millennium, wow! The great Lance Henrikson. It deserved a movie too.
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), Blade Runner, Alien, Aliens, Forbidden Planet, Earth vs the Flying Saucers, The Thing from Another World (1951), The Thing (1982, THEM, The Invaders (TV series)... and many more :)
Lots there Tony and not to be argued with. Earth V The Flying Saucers I don't know and is now on my summer film catch-up list! As for the Invaders. what a cool series that was. On a lonely road next to a lonely diner or something like that!
Oh yes, This Island Earth, an indisputable classic Andy. The dying Metaluna city is a fabulous set and the monster itself, well, the syuff of nightmares. It went on to influence Orbitron in the Colourforms range of Outer Space Men toys, my fave as a kid.
All fab Ervino although I'm unsure about Solaris. Is that the new George Clooney version or the old Russian film? Either way I will have to re-watch them.
Forbidden Planet, Moon Zero Two and if you want modern ones, X Files (first one) and Serenity.

DeleteSort of, it is the conclusion to the sublime tvsf series Firefly.
DeleteNever seen Firefly. So many things I haven't seen! I'm loving the X-Files though every week night on Spike! It'll keep going for months!
DeleteYep, 10 seasons of X Files now. I've just got dvds of its spinoff The Lone Gunmen (daft really) and its brilliant sister show, Millennium.
