The pod is made of a plasticard frame, with a sheet aluminium interior. I then bulked it out with balsa and covered it in milliput. I did take my radio controlled K9 into school once when I was teaching!
I'm awestruck. I'd struggle to build a basic Airfix kit, let alone create something like this from scratch. Looking forward to seeing pix of TB2 when it's finished :)
