DR. WHO ARC OF INFINITY IMPULSE LASER REPLICA BY KEVIN

I've made a replica of a Timelord 'Impulse Laser' as seen in the 5th Doctor story 'Arc of Infinity'.

    Nice job! Though it looks like an "Impulse Luger" to me. :)

    And I'm surprised whoever designed the thing didn't re-use the original magazine space for housing a power supply? Better weight distribution too.

    Thanks. I think the original did use a Luger or at least a replica but I had to make one from scratch. The original lit up so maybe the battery went in the magazine slot?

    Lovely colour scheme. Is that a wooden egg timer housing on the barrel?

    It is a nice colour isn't it? The frame around the barrel is made from bits of plastic tube but for all I know, the original could well have used an egg timer! All sorts went into BBC prpps.
