Well Moonbasers
As discussed on our Celtica Radio SWORDcast last night and much sooner than was expected, we can enjoy a special moment at Moonbase Central. After following its progress during late 2014, we are now able to bring you pictures of our finished replica Century 21 Project SWORD toy Hover Tank constructed and painted by resident master modeler Kevin D.
I suggested to Kevin that he might have a crack at making this toy last year and agreeing to take on the challenge, Kev set to with modelling gusto. Using all illustrations and diagrams of the Project SWORD Hover Tank available to Moonbase, Kev has produced a plastic working toy completely faithful to Century 21's spirit and style.
Century 21 Toys never made this toy so this is as close as we will ever get to an authentic Century 21 Hover Tank and I am sure you will agree that Kevin has done an utterly amazing job! The tank even has battery operated friction drive!
