When I did the post on Thunderbirds 2086, reader Yorkie put in a request to see all the Thunderbird machines from the annual. Well, I aim to please if I can so here you go - All 17 vehicles complete with their respective technical info.
Thanks Scoop. I haven't seen the annual since 1983. Another one I got rid of in the 'great purge' when I decided I'd outgrown such things. Doh! Although the TV series didn't seem to be much of a success, there are some pretty cool designs in there.
Very very cool Scoop. Great to see all 17. Some are slightly SWORDesque! I;ve had the annual and the video from the series but sold them both in a similar purge to Yorkies!
I suppose there was a bit of renewed interest in Anderson in the early eighties what with Terrahawks, so I suppose ITC Japan would have capitalised on that. I imagine I would have picked up the annual around then as a bit of a novelty item. I might have watched the odd episode out of curiosity but by and large my days of watching Japanese cartoons ended in the late sixties with Marine Boy!
Thanks Shaqui. That pic is excellent. What a find. I never check the blogger often enough! As the pic was Japanese I take it was from the original TechnoBoyager.

ReplyDeleteDid post a very nice Thunderbirds 2086 graphic showing all 17 vehicles in the last thread. Don't think anyone commented... :-(
