My call for readers' specification sheets resulted in this charming beauty from my friend Paul Vreede. It's a technical drawing of the MEV2 from Tri-ang's SpaceX range. Its really excellent and bodes well for what might come!
Thanks Arto. I did that because a good friend wanted the dimensions of the thing to attempt to model it in 3D. Don't think anything ever came of that, but it was fun doing the diagram.
Hi Grif, assuming that was sent to me (Paul Vreede) instead of Paul Woods then I'm afraid it didn't reach me. paul(dot)vreede(at)gmail(dot)com will find me. Intrigued -- Paul
MEV2 dismantled, once and for all - admirable meticulousness Paul!

Oh and I -think- I actually got a typo in one of the measurements, looking back on it now. Anybody care to guess which one? :)

Many Thax Paul!! The MEV is one of only a handful of SpaceX that I own to-date and will blog next year - or eventually :-)
ReplyDeletePaul - check your inbox - I've sent you a pic that may well be the inspiration for the MEV2!
