Ever since I saw this Hover Moon Base set on Ebay years ago I've been in love. For a start I've never seen another one and I find the simple box art and design really appealing. It'd be great to get better pictures of this. Most of all, though, I adore the small Scramble Bug. What a beauty! Does anybody have or previously own one?
I had two of the bugs, which came loose at 5p each, back in 1973. Veey simple construction of 10 pieces, i also had the lunar rover and space glider. Only the glider has made it through.
ReplyDeleteThe glider is visible on the box ahead of the sacer on the right, but below the saucer is a tiny image that looks suspiciously like a small booster rocket!
