ROYAL MAIL GERRY ANDERSON STAMP SET INSERT FROM ED ICE BERG

Guys
Thought you might like this. I don't remember if it's been featured before, but this was a 4pg insert that came with the Royal Mail's tribute to Gerry Anderson stamps last year. My friend in Scotland sent me the set and it was great, along with the post cards they put out. The scans are hi-res so I'll send four separate e-mails.
Cheers!

  1. Thanks for the scans Ed! Got myself a full variety of GA stamps & Royal mail merchandise a year back, only to be put away intact for posterity (Oh the paradoxes of collecting...)

  2. Those are great. The artwork is really nice. Not being a stamp collector l never bothered getting any of these - maybe that was a mistake.

    Thanks for sharing, Ed.

  3. You're welcome guys. The Post Card set I blogged was neat but the actual stamp set was very well done and it's apparent that someone over at Royal Mail really got into this tribute. Hats Off to whoever it was!! Well done!

  4. Stephen La Riviere wrote the script (I have documents of the final and first drafts) and Gerry Embleton drew the art.
