Daleks need no introduction and are always welcome here. Cs has sent over some shots of his mini dalek collection, comprising Product Enterprise Rolykin repros and CB toys Character Building Lego style figures. The combination of a classic design and super small scale is irresistable!
And just to add to the Dalek army goodness, here is a pic of one of my even smaller Daleks, a Games Workshop mini-kit, Cyberman and white metal Ice Warrior!
I don’t even know the way I finished up right here, however I assumed this publish was great. I do not realize who you are but definitely you are going to a well-known blogger in case you are not already. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics CS and thanks for sharing. Daleks are now icons - like Thunderbird 2 or Star Trek's Enterprise. Although they are very mechanical I never think of them as robots like say the way I do about GORT in The Day The Earth Stood Still. I suppose it's because the croaky voices hint at the alien beings sat inside steering. So Daleks are really cars!
ReplyDeleteThank YOU Woodsy & Wotan for posting these; is an honor to share here on my fave blog. Yes I sometimes forget that the Dalek we see, is a 'car'...not robot, not even cyborg...just a kind of car for it's mutant tentacled driver, the true Dalek creature inside.
ReplyDeleteA Carlek!
ReplyDeleteI myself have a translucent 1.5 inch tall Dalek that I believe was made by enterprise but im not quiet sure. the only downside is that the eye stalk, sucker, and gun pieces are missing. Do you know where I can get some replacements and where to buy other figures?
