SWORD WARS

WOOKTAN

If the SWORD fleet were in Star Wars what would they have been? Again scale is a problem but I'll throw in a starter for ten: Zero-X would equate to the Millennium Falcon. Fair? What comparisons would you make to Tie Fighters, Death Star, Landspeeder and so on?

    Blimey. Although it only has a crew of 5 the Zero-X is about 200 metres long (when TB2 flies underneath it in the movie), so I'd say it's the equivalent of the Rebel blockade Runner. The MEV could be the Falcon.

    Re-entry task force and Probe Force fleet are the X and Y Wings. The Dyna-Soar could be Darth's Tie fighter.

    Scramble bug could be that massive clone trooper wheeled tank from the prequels. Space Glider an Imperial shuttle

    Cool idea for a fan fic story! Spacex/Sword fleet falls through a wormhole into a big battle between Rebels and Imperials between Yavin and Hoth...

    ... Wasn't there a young lady on Hoth, other than Leia? I'd like to be a radar (or WHATEVER lol) scope technician to date her...you can come with all sorts of 'keeping you warm' lines... LOL

    strong female characters are missing from the initial trilogy, apart from princess leia and Mon Mothma, there was only really the green Twi'lek dancer girl who ended up as Rancor food in Jabbas court. Lucas redressed the balance slightly in the next three with various bounty hunters and sith sided villains. The expanded universe books explore it more fully with Mara Jade, the force sensitive 'emperors hand'.

    OK, if we're picking parts .... can I be a Sith Lady redeemed from the dark side of the force by the love of a good Wookie? (after fighting off the attentions of Mav Solo and some lecherous radar guy)

    I always wondered why the Ice Planet was called Hoth? Surely it should have been Coldth!
