Wow! The Zero X Theme Song

There aren't many opportunities to say that SWORD made it onto vinyl. Randy Rayder's stories about his Probe Force 1- doppelganger Athena just scrape in on the basis of the cover art. But this is the real deal, the Zero-X Theme from the 1966 film Thunderbirds Are Go courtesy of You Tube! Get your Zero-X out [well maybe just the MEV!] and wave it about to it: the majestic Barry Gray orchestral version and the Shadows instrumental version [starts at 2.05 minutes]. Can we agree that this is the SWORD theme from now on?

  1. I love the Barry Gray orchestral version, it's one of those tunes I used to hum loudly as I joined the segments of one of my many lego incarnations of the Zero X together on the carpet and tiled fire grate.
The grate was just the right height for my Martian lander so sit on and have the lifting body roll up and join on.
    Ah, such happy memories!
    Cheers Woodster!

  2. Lego Zero-X. Oh yes! Didn't have enough blue bricks though so it was mostly red and white!

  3. So was mine Yorkie...and a liberal use of those sloping red roofing bricks for the lander and other areas...the tops of my lego Apollo rockets used to look like little houses lol.
