Like the fantastical art of Frank Kelly Freas, fellow American Frank Frazetta was another big influence on my teenage consciousness. He was all over our family home because my bigger brothers loved Jim Warren's Creepy and Eerie comics. Fortunately this was passed in to me as well. Frazetta's immense talents graced the covers of many of the classic Creepy and Eerie comics from the mid Sixties to the early Seventies like this from Eerie #7.
But my favourite of all Frazetta's covers is from Creepy #11 shown below, 'When the Beastman Stalks'. You can graze over the delights of all the covers on the brilliant Cover Browser. Anyone else like Frazetta?
