As the Icelandic Volcanic Ash Cloud descends over our Islands once again and closes UK airspace for the second time in a month, I thought I'd post some of my favourite old gum cards from the 60's to cheer us all up. These cards still a vague memory. I think I may have had some. Can you confirm that they were sold in the UK, Woodsy?
ReplyDeleteYep, sure were. 1967. The later black and white photo cards came at the end of the UK monster craze in 1974 and were the last cards that ABC ever made. There's more about it here and also a fascinating insight into the controversy around MARS ATTACKS cards!
